How to receive Child Support Payments in New Jersey?
The New Jersey Child Support Program gives the obligee the choice of receiving payment by direct deposit, debit card, or cheque. Almost often, the New Jersey Family Support Payment Center is where the obligor must send payments (NJFSPC). Without previous court clearance, the obligee should not take money directly from the obligor. If the obligee receives public assistance, the check is sent to the agency providing the assistance. However, the first $50 of each month’s for child support contribution will go to the obligee.
